Questions

XI Class Admission 2026 — frequently asked questions

Marked up as FAQPage structured data so these answers can surface directly in Google results.

Q1 When will the XI Class Admission Result 2026 be published?
The selection result for the 2026–2027 session publishes on 17 September 2026 at 8:00 PM, per the schedule issued under clause 6.0 of the Admission Policy 2026. Results reach students by SMS and on the official portal; this page opens its Result Centre the moment the board goes live.
Q2 How do I check my XI Class Admission Result 2026?
Open the Result Centre at the top of this page, pick your education board and SSC passing year, type your SSC roll and registration number, and press Show my result. You will also receive an SMS on the mobile number registered with your EDU ID.
Q3 What is the application fee, and can I pay it more than once?
The application fee is ৳220 plus the gateway's service charge, and it covers between five and ten college choices in a single phase. If your application is cancelled and you re-apply in a later phase, you pay the ৳220 again.
Q4 How many colleges can I choose?
A minimum of five and a maximum of ten. You may list several shifts, versions or groups of the same college as separate choices. Order them honestly — migration only ever moves you up your own list.
Q5 What happens if I don't confirm after being selected?
Both your selection and your application are cancelled. To get back in, you must submit a brand-new application in the next phase and pay the ৳220 fee again. Confirmation costs ৳340 and must be paid online inside the confirmation window.
Q6 Can I change my group from Humanities to Science?
No. Humanities and Business Studies students may move between those two groups and into Islamic Studies, Home Science or Music — but not into Science. A Science student who leaves Science also cannot come back.
Q7 Is there an admission test?
No. Clause 3.1 of the policy prohibits any selection or entrance examination. Admission is decided entirely on SSC results, using the tie-break ladder when GPAs are equal.
Q8 Which SSC batches are eligible in 2026?
Students who passed SSC or an equivalent examination in 2026, 2025 or 2024 — the result year plus the two years before it. Bangladesh Open University students enter GPA instead of a registration number.
Q9 What is auto-migration and should I keep it on?
After you confirm, the board re-runs allocation up to three times and moves you to a higher-preference college if a seat opens there. It never moves you down. Keep it on if a college higher on your list is where you actually want to be; switch it off from your portal account if you are settled.
Q10 What is the official website for XI class admission?
The official application portal is xiclassadmission.gov.bd, operated by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee. This app is an independent information and result-checking service and is not affiliated with the Ministry of Education.
